Introductions
My name is Jim Higgs, Owner and General Contractor of Higgs Construction - your "Do It All" construction company. I am proud to say that I am a 3rd generation contractor, with over 30 years in the residential trade and 14 years in the commercial trade. All my residential construction knowledge, values and ethics came from my father and grandfather who operated with the highest integrity and handed that down to me.
This level of high integrity, strong morals and a commitment to quality in the construction trade continues to be my mission with Higgs Construction. Higgs Construction originated in the Bay Area in 1989, operated by my father at the time. As I grew in age and experience I took the business over, and along the way, relocated to Folsom where I have been established since 2007. Higgs Construction covers the counties of Sacramento, El Dorado and parts of Placer. I am very passionate about the construction trade and I reflect that not only in my work, but my interactions with my clients. I understand that work performed on homes can be costly and frustrating depending on the size of the job. I do all I can to make sure that jobs flow easily and that it's done right the first time, minimizing costs.
